NEW YORK CITY--
Verizon is stealing customers' data and scuttling it away into the depths of the phone network for their own use! The stolen data consists of robbed bits, stolen from mantissas. This little known fact from the DSL FAQ page,
http://www.faqs.org/faqs/datacomm/xdsl-faq/index.html
... PROVES that Verizon is evil:
"The least significant bit of the mantissa may be periodically stolen for signaling within the phone network (called robbed-bit signaling) further increasing the noise."
Verizon is sucking our mantissas dry! Plundering them from under our noses. Customers are being robbed blinded!
Verizon is sucking our mantissas dry! Plundering them from under our noses. Customers are being robbed blinded!
Verizon is systematically stealing bits from customers' mantissas as they make their innocent way from the router to the DSLAM, CRIPPLING the mantissas and using the robbed bits for their own sordid purposes deep within the phone network. They say they're taking the least significant bits of the mantissas... Are you gonna let Verizon decide how significant YOUR mantissa is??@?@
DON'T let this pass without taking DIRECT ACTION or we will all slide down a slippery slope and Verizon will steal THE ENTIRE MANTISSA!!
The fate of the stolen bits is a well-kept secret and can only be guessed at, but it is very likely that DSL providers like Verizon are trafficking in the robbed bits. Likely buyers include Communist countries and the third world, where the bits would be recycled into other mantissas. One can only assume such a practice would result in shoddy mantissas.
