| June 15 1998: Road Runner is a joint venture (ServiceCo)
formed by Time Warner Cable, Media One cable systems
as well as third party cable systems, with Microsoft
and Compaq as strategic partners and investors. Advance/Newhouse
through its ownership in Time Warner Entertainment,
also became an active partner.
December 1997: Time Warner and Media One announce their
intention to merge their services for cable internet
business.
