Reese's Pieces clearly are chocolate coated. Just try one and it's obvious! It tastes chocolatey, smells chocolatey, is chocolatey. On the other hand, Wikipedia makes no mention of chocolate. However, we all know that Wikipedia is wildly unreliable. Now, if you go to the Hershey's website, they classify Reese's Pieces under sugar confectionery as well as chocolate candy. What are we to make of that?

All I can say, not being a reputable journalist, is that any candy with resinous glaze and carnauba wax is a-okay with me.
