All of the reference books on graffiti in the libraries of New York have been pilfered. They've been taken from the NYU reference library, the NYPL reference library.... it's just so hard to keep track of books on lawless teenage activities. Reminds me of how bookstores refused to carry Abbie Hoffman's Steal This Book.
