Why, for the first time in his presidency, has Bush skipped his August physical this year?
What has caused his marked cognitive decline from 10 years ago?
Bush's tooth-grinding, violent outbursts, and nervous tics, and his avoidance of people's names in the second debate provide further evidence for a disturbing medical problem, following his strangely disconnected performance in the first one.
He is possibly suffering presenile dementia or Korsakoff's syndrome, due to his long-term alcoholism. Managed tardive dyskinesia is an unlikely diagnosis.
His decline in attentiveness, linguistic fluency, and motor control over the last ten years is certainly worthy of note and deserves to be explained.
