DECOMPENSATE THIS

The word of the day, children, is decompensation. Use instead of "dying due to complications from blood loss", "freaking out", or "having a total meltdown".

    de·com·pen·sa·tion
  1. Failure of the heart to maintain adequate circulation.
  2. Failure to maintain psychological defense mechanisms in response to stress, resulting in personality disturbance or imbalance.

Usage:

"Yo, my man Tyrone got shot in the leg, and he's totally decompensating!"

"Did you hear? When Sharon saw her ex-boyfriend at Bill's party, she decompensated and drank an entire bottle of Captain Morgan."
